How to stay organized at work

1. Set a strategic plan with long-term goals and objectives that are measurable, specific and targeted. Your plan should be reviewed, analyzed and adjusted in regular intervals. This will keep your work focused.
2. Know your most productive hours of the day, and use them wisely!
3. Prioritize your To-Do lists: attend to your top three items during your identified most productive hours of the day.
4. Block off time to disconnect from technology and just be present with your thoughts to let ideas flow, this will allow you to connect with your deep creative workspace.
5. Turn off your email flags and schedule time twice a day to check email. This way you do not get your work disrupted by someone else's email demand.
6. Set office hours to maintain boundaries. People know when they can reach you, and you are in control of your schedule.
7. Limit mindless distractions (you know what these are for you) by setting aside a block of time for them.
8. You may be the best, but you can not do it all by yourself. So, support your team, identify their strengths, build them up, and delegate.
9. Take proper care of you (whatever that means to you). In general, enough sleep, healthy eating, exercise, and good relationships are the basics to proper self-care.
10. Keep track of your success and reward yourself!
